モトウォーターズ（Moto Waters）

キャセイ･パシフィック航空、在シドニー日本国総領事館勤務を経てレイホワイト・ゴールドコーストに入社。30年以上にわたり、インターナショナル部門の責任者を務める。パナソニック、大和ハウス工業、大京、EIEなど大手日系企業との事業に携わった経験と実績が豊富。

1989年レイホワイト・ゴールドコーストに入社

大学卒業後、日本でキャセイ・パシフィック航空に勤務しました。その後、オーストラリア人の夫との結婚を機に渡豪し、シドニーの在日本国総領事館にて、日豪経済研究を担当する特別部門で秘書として勤務いたしました。以降は夫の仕事の都合に合わせ、ブリスベン空港の入国管理局や、クイーンズランド北部にある日系開発会社にて社長秘書を務めるなど、主にオフィスワークや秘書業務に従事してまいりました。現在勤務しているレイホワイト・ゴールドコーストへの入社も、これまでの秘書としてのキャリアが大きく関係しています。

35年以上仕事を続けながら感じること

当初は、日本のお客様のお役に立てることが純粋に嬉しく、やりがいを感じていました。やがて、オーストラリアに関するさまざまな情報を提供したり、不動産以外の分野でもサポートを行ったりする中で、日本とオーストラリアをつなぐ架け橋のような存在として活動できていることに、大きな充実感を覚えるようになりました。現在では、世界各国からお問い合わせをいただくようになり、オーストラリアと世界を結ぶ架け橋として、日々楽しく仕事に取り組んでいます。

今後の展望
